The Beverly J. Nelson Leadership and Service Scholarship is available to female students at Marshalltown Community College. You must be a resident of IVCCD and have a minimum GPA of 3.2 to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on civic and leadership activities.

The Barb Nelson Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, academic strength, integrity, morality, and drive, with financial assistance to pursue higher education. The scholarship is available to NFMA Members markets employees or family members that meet the requirements for application as listed below.

One of the fourteen scholarships was awarded to a student pursuing a credential in career and technical education (a skilled trade). Students who, as high school seniors, have previously received June Nelson scholarships, are allowed to compete for an additional scholarship the following year while enrolled full time in a college or trade school.

The winners of the June Nelson Memorial Scholarship Awards will be announced after March 28, 2020. Meet the winners of the 2019 Stim Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship A panel of distinguished authors have selected the three winners of the 2019 Stim Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship. Ruth Tedla, Kristin Hong and Alex Huynh have each earned tuition support from this scholarship fund with their essays about local civic leaders.

Student Scholarships. The Educational Foundation administers various civic, business, individual, and Foundation scholarships. All scholarships utilize the CFBISD online scholarship application. The staff and volunteers of the SCA are delighted to introduce the recipients of the 2019-2021 Leadership Equity and Diversity (LEAD) Scholarship Program.
